Timber Lodge is an Orcas Island Vacation Rental where you can experience a real Pacific Northwest Log home with a Tipi, this the perfect cabin for your next vacation in the San Juan Islands. Walk through the front door of this impeccably maintained home which is ideal for entertaining. Timber Lodge has three levels to the cabin. The main floor is on the first level offers magnificent westerly water views across Eastsound and Gulf Islands, beautiful upscale lodge-style furnishing we have choose a them of the great Bison and the Eagle Feathers depicting a Native American with Rustic accents throughout. Other features include pine wood floors and a large open beam ceiling in great room with open-hearth wood burning fireplace, large open gourmet style kitchen with every amenity a gourmet cook will require. The Master Bedroom is also on the main level featuring a King size four poster Pine bed with a pillow-top mattress, a flat screen television. Wonderful large Master Bathroom with Jacuzzi tub A half bathroom is also located on the first floor. The Dining room has a propane stove in the corner and enough seating for ten guests.
A Guided Tour of Timber Lodge
Great room, kitchen and dining room photo great for a family reunion or gathering perfect for entertaining. The kitchen features beautiful pine cabinets, an electric range and stove, dishwasher and microwave oven. Behind the kitchen is a pantry area where guests will find a nice selection of small appliances such as a bread maker, food processor, waffle iron, roasting pans. Two sets of dishes are available for our guests a set of every day dishes with a full assortment of covered casserole dishes to match. We also have included table cloth and cloth napkins as well as fine dinning tableware from Bob Timberlake for special occasions at Timber Lodge.
Steps lead up from the Great Room to the second floor which features two guest bedrooms shared by a full bathroom. The first guest bedroom features fishing decor and a four poster pine bed with a Queen size pillow top mattress, this is a favorite with steps next to the bed that help our guests get into bed. The second guest bedroom features a Moose decor with queen size bed. These two bedrooms share a full size bathroom with separate shower and claw foot tub. The second floor has a loft area looks out over the great room and has a Queen size sleeper sofa and full entertainment center and is decorated in a Canoe Theme. The upstairs loft area also has a full library with books and board games as well as a desk and chair with high-speed internet, a printer and fax machine for our guests that need to stay in touch with work.
The great room is large and cozy with a full sectional that includes a sofa sleeper and rocking chairs for relaxing or enjoying time with family and friends.

The great room has a 46" Flat screen TV, DVD and Ipod station.
Kitchen
Wonderful open and airy kitchen area which is ideal for cooking and entertaining.
The kitchen has new granite counter tops and has been stocked with just about everything a gourmet cook could ask for pots and pans, lots of serving pieces which can be seen stored on the tops of the kitchen cabinets. Lovely bay window in the kitchen with views of the garden area.

Dining Area
Directly across from the Great Room is the dining room area which has a large Bay Window seat and propane stove with enough seating for all of our guests.

Main Floor Master Bedroom
Master Bedroom features a king-size four poster pine bed with pillow-top mattress and down pillows and comforter.

Second Floor Loft Area

Loft den area overlooks the Great Room and features a entertainment center with Sony 32" television, stereo and DVD. Queen-size sleeper sofa upholstered in a rustic canoe theme with matching upholstered rocking chair.
2nd Guest Bedroom
Guest Bedroom #2 features a four poster queen-size bed with pillow-top mattress. This guest bedroom has been decorated in a fishing theme decor and has steps that help aid our guests to reach the bed. Also features a 22" television hooked up to Direct TV. This bedroom has double closets across one wall of the bedroom.
3rd Guest Bedroom
Guest Bedroom #3 is super rustic with large beams and vaulted ceiling. Features two queen-size beds in a beautiful rustic moose theme decor. This bedroom has a nice size walk-in closet.
Guest Bathroom - Upper Level
The upstairs bathroom features a claw-foot bath tub and separate shower. The sink is housed in a beautiful antique dresser
Game Room - Lower Level
Steps from the main floor lead to the lower level. Once down you will find a game room area with a pool table, dart board, dry bar with stools, TV entertainment center and a player piano. The fourth bedroom is located just off the family room this guest bedroom features a Trundle Bed with two twin size mattresses and private bathroom vanity. A full size bathroom is also on this level with a shower.

In the he lower level of the cabin you will find a billiard table, dart board, player piano with dry bar along with a wall mounted 19" television sofa and bar stools. The full size bathroom with shower is located just behind the dry bar.
4th Guest Bedroom - Lower Level
The fourth bedroom is located on the lower level next to the family room. Trundle bed with two twin beds each with feather beds, this bedroom has a vanity sink.
5th Bedroom Tipi Guest Quarters
Teepee Guest Quarters is available during the summer months. Ideal for guests that are looking for a bit of privacy. The Teepee is 20 feet in diameter and features full electrical power, two twin size roll away beds and a small sitting area. 
Outdoor Deck & Hot Tub Area
We keep our trees topped and the tree limbs thinned so that no obstructions are in the way of these spectacular views. Deck area has two dining tables with seating for four guests at each table, plus extra spare dining chairs and two sets of chaise lounge chairs.
Timber Lodge added a Six person Hot tub in December 2011. Location is ideal as the overhang on the roof makes the hot tub area nice an protected so it can be used all year long.
BBQ grill is hooked up to our main propane tank so our guests never had to worry about running out!
Home Theater Room - (Optional Fee)
In January 2012, we added a new "State of the Art" Home Theater Room with 10 leather recliner style theater seats, 105 inch screen and 3D projection television system with 3D Blu-Ray player, 3D glasses and a 7.1 Dolby surround sound system. The theater room also has a snack area with microwave for popcorn and bar refrigerator for storing drinks. Since not all guests are interested in a theater room we have elected not to increase our vacation rental rates and make access to the room an optional fee for use.
